Idaho Pharmacy Loses an Icon Idaho Pharmacy Mourns Loss of Icon, Sue Chew Idaho Representative and Pharmacist, Sue Chew, who passed away on April 17th after battling pancreatic cancer. A steadfast advocate for the pharmacy profession and the rights of all Idahoans, Representative Chew served nine terms in the Idaho House of Representatives. She was a champion for important pharmacy initiatives and a beloved member of the Idaho Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ISHP). Sue Chew Excellence in Public Service & Healthcare Advocacy Award Honors Pharmacy Leaders ISHP, ISPA, the Idaho Board of Pharmacy and the ISU College of Pharmacy have established the Sue Chew Excellence in Public Service & Healthcare Advocacy Award to honor Sue's unwavering commitment to community service, advocacy, and healthcare. This award will recognize an Idaho pharmacist who embodies these same values. Continuing Sue's Legacy An endowment fund will support the award and recognize future pharmacy leaders who, like Sue, strive to make a difference in the lives of others.
