I grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated Valedictorian of my high school. I always knew I wanted to be a pharmacist. I was fortunate to attend Idaho State University and graduated the pharmacy program in 2011. My wife and I moved back to Idaho Falls after pharmacy school, and I started working for Walgreens. I was soon promoted to Pharmacy Manager and worked there for 3 years. I was asked to apply for the Pharmacy Manager position at Walmart in Ammon and, after the interview process, received the job offer. That position challenged me and helped me grow and develop my leadership skills. I managed that pharmacy for 2 years. After much thought and deliberation, I decided to return to school and pursue my MBA degree. I now work at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls. I have enjoyed learning the health system aspect of pharmacy and look forward to furthering my education and professional leadership through ISHP and the I-LEAD program. I have a wonderful wife and 2 kids with another on the way! We love the outdoors. We ski every weekend and bike and rock climb in the summer.
